Becca and Howie are a happily married couple living a quiet life in Larchmont, N.Y., when a devastating tragedy -- the accidental death of their 4-year-old son -- throws them into emotional turmoil. Alternately sad and funny, Lindsay-Abaire's realistic drama follows the couple as they grieve -- in very different ways -- and struggle to reassemble their marriage and come to terms with unimaginable loss.
