Dance the night away with Emerald City Players, Dublin’s own community theater troupe. Featuring the Big Band Sound of the Emerald City Orchestra! Friday, July 25th 8-11 p.m. in the Ballroom at the Wyndham Hotel, Dublin. Tickets are $15 and advance tickets are available at the Wyndham Hotel, 600 Metro Place North , The Dublin Arts Center, 7125 Riverside Dr, The Dublin Convention and Visitors Center, 9 South High St. or online at www.emeraldcityplayers.com. A cash bar is available.

The Emerald City Orchestra, a part of Emerald City Players, was originally assembled to perform in the theater group’s production of “The 1940’s Radio Hour” in June of 2002. Due to the large audiences and their enthusiastic response, the orchestra was kept intact in order to continue to perform in Dublin. The ECO performed at the Dublin Arts and Music Festival last September, at the opening performance of the Dublin Arts Council’s “Sunday at Scioto Series” in June and at many private events in Dublin. Members of the orchestra come from Dublin as well as Hilliard, Worthington, Powell, Gahanna, Columbus, Blacklick, Marysville, Grove City and Galloway.
